What Information Do We Collect?
When you use our quotation request form, we may process:
- Your full name,
- Job title and company information,
- Email address and telephone number,
- Country, city and address information,
- Information about the products you request,
- Notes and files submitted through the form,
- IP address, browser information and transaction records used for form security.
Please do not include personal information that is not necessary for the quotation or unnecessary information relating to other individuals.
Why Do We Use This Information?
We may use your information to:
- Receive and evaluate your quotation request,
- Contact you about the requested products,
- Determine pricing, stock, delivery and logistics conditions,
- Take steps before entering into a contract and manage contractual processes,
- Protect the website and quotation form,
- Comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights.
Submitting a quotation request does not mean that you have agreed to receive advertising or marketing communications.
Legal Basis
Depending on the relevant activity, we process personal data because it is necessary:
- To take steps before entering into or performing a contract,
- To comply with legal obligations,
- To establish, exercise or protect legal rights,
- For Tezman’s legitimate business interests, provided that your rights and freedoms are not adversely affected.
We do not rely on a mandatory consent checkbox to process information required for a quotation request.
Who May Receive Your Information?
Where necessary, information may be shared with:
- Relevant Tezman employees,
- Website, email and information-technology providers,
- Suppliers and logistics providers needed for the quotation or delivery,
- Financial and legal advisers,
- Public authorities and courts where required by law.
Google reCAPTCHA is used to prevent unwanted or automated submissions. When this service is used, Google may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information. Google’s own privacy terms also apply to this service.
How Long Do We Keep the Information?
Information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate your request and communicate with you. If the quotation results in a contract, applicable legal retention periods may apply.
When there is no longer a purpose or legal reason to keep the information, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with applicable law.
Your Rights
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have the right to:
- Ask whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information about your personal data,
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- Request deletion where the legal conditions are met,
- Ask who has received your data,
- Object to certain processing activities,
- Submit a complaint to the competent data protection authority.
